I have some very exciting news to share. I'm moving to Hotlanta (aka Atlanta). People might of thought that I would call Denver my home eventually, but I was lucky enough to move with a job intact. Now, I'm only 7 hours away from home!. Even though this blog post is suppose to be a "YAY! I'm moving" post, but in the end it's my goodbye letter to Denver. I've lived in Denver for 2 years and I will cherish the memories I've made here.
People ask me if I was excited to be moving to Denver originally. Denver was only suppose to be a 3 month deal, but when you get a job offer right out of college you take it. After these past 2 years, the aspect that I will miss the most about Denver are the friendships I've made out here. I've met some amazing people, who have become my rock living out here. The hardest part for me when moving is not seeing them weekly. Thank god we have phones and we can text, but it's just not the same. To the friends that are reading this, thank you for being there for me when times were tough and always taking me outside of my comfort zone. You guys made my experience in Denver the best experience that I could ask for.
A few things I will miss about Denver are seeing the mountains from my office window. The "Denver Casual" feel when going out and not having to over dress. The multiple marketplaces filled with amazing drinks and food.
Now that my journey is coming to an end in Denver, it's time to start researching all things Atlanta. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel and sometimes things happen when you least expect it. On to the next journey!
